Continuing the graduation show's
visual identity into the catalogue created a clear connection between the exhibition and the publication. The stencil system that worked across banners and signage translated naturally into the cover. The ripping elements fit the same thinking: design students are expected to engage actively with objects, so a catalogue that asks the same of its reader felt entirely fitting.
The catalogue ran to 500 pages with a print run of 2,300 copies. Together with the graduation show identity, it formed a complete body of work for the 2019 edition. That year, a student jury selected it as one of the best designed books in the Netherlands.
